"Macular treatment - brilliant"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I have been coming here for an eye issue since June 2015. Apart from one occasion when my records had gone walk-about, it has been slick, professional and well managed. The diagnosis was to first have laser treatment, then sadly to receive 3 injections in the eye (which i was dreading). All the way through the staff have been brilliant and especially with the injections, clearly understood that i was somewhat apprehensive. I had the last treatment today (a Saturday) and despite the fact that the NHS apparently doesn't work seven days (or so we are told) it was the best yet.

The staff are wonderful and, although i dont know if the treatment has worked, i am so grateful. God bless the NHS.
