"Absolutely disgusting"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

My wife has been suffering with severe pain and numbness in her leg since August and also intense pain in her back.

This department has done nothing but fob her off and try to get out of spending money on tests.

They have cancelled MRI tests which we were told were vital to investigate what is wrong with my wife, they have lost appointments with my wife so when she turned up when asked to attend they said they had no record of her.

This condition has left my 34 year old wife unable to walk to the local shop without excruciating pain and left her feeling isolated and alone.

We have a 3 year old son to look after and she is struggling to do this due to the pain.

I am the only one working all the hours under the Sun to pay the bill's as she cannot work.

They have fired off a list of things it could be including multiple sclerosis but seem unwilling to do any relevant tests.

They have decided to leave her in pain until next July before they see her again to see what has changed.

well what has changed is my faith in a corrupt and decaying NHS. It is disgusting. We have both played into the system all our working lives as have our parents and grandparents.

When we actually need help to diagnose what could be a life changing illness with severe consequences they are only interested in saving money.

They should be ashamed
