"My stay on ward 16 Leicester general."

About: Leicester General Hospital

After having surgery I was taken to ward 16 where I was in a bay with 3 other women, they were the same women from the waiting room before surgery so it was lovely recovering with them too.

All of the staff could not have been more helpful, they were friendly and treated you with all the dignity and respect you expect, I felt the ward was a happy place, every one seemed to get on really well which makes a nicer place to recover in. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff at all. There were also a couple of volunteers pottering round during the day for a friendly chat or to get you a hot drink or snack which was lovely. I never thought I'd be treated as well as I was.
