About: Burnley General Hospital

I visited your department last Friday evening4th December as my local doctors surgery advised me it would be quicker than seeing my GP. I was a little worried as it wasn't a serious injury, I had injured my foot and it wasn't getting any better causing me great difficulty getting around.

Well what a first rate service you offer, from the friendly receptionist to the comfortable waiting area, even though it was busy I didn't have to wait long at all. The nurse who dealt with me was excellent, they examined my foot watched me walk and gave a diagnosis, explained what the problem was, then kindly supplied an exercise sheet. Anyway thanks to them my foot is getting better each day, so thanks a lot. Just the sort of health care I like, I really felt the nurse involved knew what they were talking about. I had confidence in their diagnosis and advice on how to continue treatment at home.
