"Pharmacy"

I attended pharmacy department to get a prescription. I cannot complain about the care, the pharmacy staff were very friendly. However, I was told my prescription would take 40 minutes, and 90 minutes later was still waiting. I do understand that staff are very busy. However, yesterday when I went to my local pharmacy they could not accept the prescription chart as it was from a&e broomfield. So that meant I had to go back to broomfield, pay for transport, unwell and waiting a long time for a prescription. For future reference, could the prescriptions from broomfield be accepted in other pharmacies? like boots, it would save the pharmacy staff time, and also it means patients are waiting less time.
