I've had the misfortune of having to use the urgent care centre on several occasions over the past few years for a variety of different minor ailments when I've been unable to see my GP soon enough. On one occasion it was a community MRSA infection so I'm sure I was spared days of additional suffering by being prescribed the correct antibiotics in a timely fashion.
On every occasion I've been seen quickly (within half an hour) and by a courteous and knowledgable member of staff. There is a pharmacy conveniently right next door too.
I hope the government keeps this centre open as from my perspective they provide a critical service 7 days a week.
"Excellent facility"
