"Cardiac & Pacemaker Clinic Outstanding!"

I have been attending Pacemaker Clinics at initially the Tunbridge Wells hospital, and then Pembury Hospital for 10 years. I originally had my Pacemaker fitted at Caen in France as an emergency procedure. The reviews and regular monitoring once back in the UK at Pembury have been excellent, carried out on time with full discussion by professional and passionate staff.

I recently had my Pacemaker replaced by my consultant on the 27th November. The arrangements were dealt with in an excellent manner, nurses and staff were attentive and I was fully briefed on the procedure at all times. I arrived at 8am and was back home by 2pm! The surgeon communicated throughout the operation in a friendly and professional manner, and it was reassuring to have the theatre nurse from the Pacemaker Clinic programming the new Pacemaker to my old settings.

One week later and the stitches are removed and it really is back to normal life.
