"Care for the person"

Over the last couple of weeks, I've made two visits - to Out Patients, and to X-Ray West for a CT scan. On both occasions I was dealt with promptly and efficiently but more to the point I felt I was seen by all of the staff as an individual with the anxiety that accompanies being in a strange and somewhat threatening environment.

I was treated as "me", not just another "case".

For that, I was most grateful.

It made the experiences manageable.
