"Granddaughter still in a&e 4.30 hrs after being..."

About: Cumberland Infirmary

My 5 year old granddaughter is still sat on a trolley in A&E nearly 5 hours after being admitted. while this is a terrible night for Cumbria. Its not good enough. She has been admitted with breathing difficulties left with no blankets and no communication from staff. Not good enough Carlisle.

I am sorry your granddaughter has had such a wait in A&E. You're right it is a terrioble night for Cumbria and I know the staff do all they can to prioritise patients and ensure they are cared for. The staff work exceptionally hard to see patients are seen as soon as possible and I hope your granddaughter recovers soon.
