"referred in July 2015now Dec 2015 still..."

Referred in July really sore throat for months before, it''s now December still no appointment, really miserable with sore throat. Have rung few times told 20 week wait, it past that now though , Dr who referred me has written to hurry it along GP didn't refer me so they can't assist, still no appointment :(

Understand it really busy but it such a long wait and problem getting worse I quite worried.
