"Nothing had an awful experience ..."

About: Torbay Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Nothing had an awful experience after the birth of my 2nd child

What could be improved

More staff then the staff workin would not be so under pressure and rude (was made to breast feed my baby even wen in pain), better team work (twice forgot my medication as the night staff didnt tell the day staff what was neeeded and when this delayed me in being released from hosp even tho i was begging to go), to tell me what medication i was actually taking and i had to wait 6hrs to be discharged. And the food was foul

Anything else?

Awful awful experience gone down hill since birth of my 1st child 3yrs ago, was told they were really busy in post natal ward but i was the only 1 in the whole ward!!!

We are concerned to learn of your experience of our care. We advise anyone with concerns while they are in hospital to ask to speak to the matron so that they can be resolved at the time. We would like to encourage you to contact us directly so that we can understand what happened. The person to contact is Maria Mortimore (Inpatient Matron for Maternity Services) on 01803 654620.
