"Amazing treatment for my 9 month old son"

My husband and I can't thank The children's A&E department enough. My 9 month old was crawling and grabbed a hot radiator pipe and burnt his hand quite badly. Upon arrival we were seen within minutes and as my son was crying a lot the staff allowed us to use a treatment room with a water feature with bubbles to distract him. All the staff were lovely and treated us and our older son with great respect. After receiving treatment we had to go back 4 times for dressing changes and each time the staff were great, even singing with me to distract my son.

Communication throughout was fantastic and I was reassured throughout the process. I feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing hospital on my doorstep.
