"Excellent Care From A and E and ASU"

Would like to say "thank you" to all staff in A and E And on the Acute Stroke Unit following my recent admission. Was taken to Salford Royal by ambulance to A and E with suspected stroke. Received excellent care on A and E from all staff. Everything was explained to me and I was shown care support and empathy and rapid access to tests and treatment. Was seen immediately on A and E then rapidly admitted to Acute Stroke Unit. Whilst on ASU received excellent care from all staff and kept well informed of what was happening which all helped me deal with the situation. I would particularly like thanks to be passed on to nurse on ASU Who worked extremely hard for the patients in their care. All doctors and consultants explained things to me and treated me with dignity and respect. I felt very reassured that I was receiving best possible care from all the staff involved with my care. Would be nice if these comments could be passed on to staff in A and E and ASU as they all contributed to giving me excellent care and treatment at a worrying difficult time. Their caring approach was very much appreciated.
