At this point i am unable to leave a review of any description as we have not attended the hospital. The reason being, even though my five year old son is in great discomfort from the growth that is eminating from the palm of his hand, he cannot be seen for an average of 82 days.
I hope it,s not just me but 82days?
If the growth had been fully identified and fully diagnosed and this was the waiting time for a proceedure then fair enough. It's NOT..... this is the actual time it is going to take for a dermatologist to see him.
Because of the position of this growth he is restricted from doing things that will cause pain and even at the tender age of five is very self concious of it and i often find him covering it as he says he's embarrassed because it looks bad and he doesn't want others at school to see it.
Is it really acceptable for him to have to wait so long for this?
How long should any child suffer any sort of discomfort and pain, embarrassment and eventual ridicule ( kids can be cruel )
Not Sure 82 days would be the first answer you would suggest.
"82 days????????"
