"Excellent care"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

I recently spent a week on ward 35 following a knee replacement. My experience from the admission department, through theatre, recovery and onto the ward was very efficient and reassuring. Discussion with the consultant and anaesthetist prior to my operation made me feel safe in their care. All staff on the ward, nursing, physio and OT were all excellent in their care and sympathetic to help I needed. There was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere on the ward and patients treated according to their individual needs. There was a good choice of meals and I enjoyed everything I ordered.

I have no complaints about the care I have received and appreciate all the help I have been given to ensure my recovery continues safely at home

Thank you everybody.
