"Great Care but a long wait"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

Hi,

I am very grateful for the care that i received last Monday from the team in the Moorfields A&E Department. The doctors, nurses and reception staff were excellent.

The only thing that could be improved is the waiting time, 5 hours is a bit too long too see a consultant. I wonder if there is an innovative way to manage this down to 4 or 3 hours? Perhaps some if the IT crowd working near by at the Silicon Roundabout can collaborate with the hospital to develop a solution?

Thank you for your kind comments about the staff at Moorfields which i have passed onto the team. Unfortunately when our A&E is busy there can be delays, and though we currently see just over 98% of our patients within four hours we are constantly looking at ways to make the time spent in A&E as short and effective as possible.
