I love it! Other than the day centre it’s me and the telly. My daughter doesn’t get to visit me as often as she’d like. I love the company at the centre.

The staff are so helpful, they do everything but drink your tea for you. Grace, the manager, collected me from my house this morning. She turned off my telly, she got my jacket. She’d done a day’s work before we even got to the centre.

The food is great. I’m a right fusspot but there is always something I like.

I was worried about coming here at first because I’m a fussy person but I was amazed. I’m always sitting ready for the bus to come. I’m hoping to come another day but at the moment the centre is short staffed and it’s not possible. I know they are trying to get new staff but it’s hard to find people. I want the new staff to be just like the ones we have now.

I love everything about the day centre. I don’t think we’d get the care we get on Arran if we were on the mainland. I feel very lucky.

Many thanks for taking the time out to contact us to tell us about your experiences of the new Stronach Day Service on the Isle of Arran.

I'm sure your positive comments about the care service as well as the meals will be well received by all of the team at the centre and I will pass them on.

I hope that the centre will soon be able to accommodate you on more than the one day you are currently attending and I understand that the issues surrounding staff vacancies are being look into at present.

I hope that you continue to enjoy attending the centre and once again, many thanks for getting in touch.
