I had my first colonoscopy today. Following an abnormal sample sent in to the bowel cancer screening service. Two weeks ago i met with a nurse from the endoscopy dept who reassured me and told me what to expect. The whole experience has been has professional. My biggest fears regarding the use of the laxative and discomfort were proved to be groundless. It isnt something you want to have everyday but if you must have one there is no better place than Grimsby.
