"The friendly way that my father ..."

About: Warwick Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The friendly way that my father was treated. This was his 6th visit this year, and not always in the same ward. He has had bad experiences - but last time was great. He was in Castle Ward

What could be improved

There is no consistency in hospital cleanliness, on a previous visit my father was inSquire Ward, this is a much older ward, equipment out of date, cramped and untidy, because of this I feel that the staff were unable to give the level of care that he had received in other wards. He spent some time on Fairfax Ward earlier in the year and because this is the 23 hour ward - I felt it was very much like a war zone - I completed the forms for the nurse in respect of dad, as they were short staffed and had very demanding patients.

Anything else?

My top two wards are Willoughby and Castle, they have both made my father at ease - he is 92 yrs and is very poorly
