"WARD 1 STAFF DESERVE GOLD MEDALS!"

I spent two weeks on ward 1.

My experience was at first quite scary being my first time in hospital.

Both the nurses and support staff were brilliant they gave me reassurance and supported myself through this difficult time.

I had a named nurse and was given opportunities to make decisions of my care on and off the ward.

The ward was clean and tidy and activities were provided for those who wished to partake.

We have to understand that we all have different needs!
