"treatment received varies"

I've been in A&E and wards a few times here. There was some in improvement in there clinical area. In terms of cleanliness, depending on the nursing staff on duty like some SN will check the toilet first before letting patient in the room. Sometimes they don't, when i have to use the toilet in my room, the toilet was filthy - blood stains everywhere - sink, floor and toilet seat and specimen samples left in the sink.

Depending on the doctor on duty as well, I was wheezy with when I first came in A&E, they didn't do anything even I told them I'm very short of breath, even using my inhaler ( I wasn't diagnosed with asthma that time, although my GP prescribed it for me because of long periods of coughing.) I was sent home with advised I'll get better soon because it was only viral chest infection.

Eleven days after, my symptoms persist, worried about my pregnancy, I went to see my GP. GP referred me to A&E doctor and went straight there. That time I was poor, hardly talk and move because of shortness of breathing. I had Nebulisation which gave me some relief and further more treatment on the ward for 3 days. I had newly diagnosed asthma and LRTI. Now I'm on steroids and slowly getting better. Staffs diring my last visit in Whipps Cross Hospital were superb and thanks to the Respiratory specialist consultants.
