I was admitted and remained admitted for 8 days, The treatment I received I could not fault, from the moment I was admitted I was kept informed, I met the anaesthetist, the surgeon, they put me at ease I and I felt confident from the way they treated and assured me. Throughout my admission I found the nursing staff extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. After the surgery the surgeon personally telephoned my wife and informed her of my condition which I thought was a very caring thing to do,after what was obviously very long day for them. They could have delegated this task but didn't,

All in all I was very impressed with the service supplied, well done Colchester Hospital.
