"The cardiology department are exceptional"

I was on Avon ward for 5 days, and everyone, from the cardiology consultant, across the team, including N the matron, all the nurses, the housekeeper and the cleaner, each and every member of staff was exceptional. They all gave 150%, they were totally patient focused, so kind and caring to every patient. Their clinical care was faultless, and the accommodation and catering were superb. The pharmacy was excellent, my discharge drugs were supplied on my first day, meaning there was no delay on discharge, my discharge summary was given to me and emailed to my GP before I left, as opposed to waiting 7 days at another hospital. It is the best hospital I have ever been in, and I've been in a few. This is how the NHS works best, when you have highly competent and dedicated staff who are totally focused on patient care, well-led, caring, and focused.
