Appalling care on Ward D58 for my dying dad
Left hungry as soup in a beaker by his bedside though was unable to lift it
The day he died I went in to find him cold in a soaking bed, alerted the staff who took over 40 minutes to change his bed
He was in a gown as his pyjamas were put on the patient in the next bed
To make things even worse when a nurse came to give him his IV antibiotics he was screaming in pain as the cannula was misplaced .. I just wonder if the same had happened when I wasn't there
Monitoring equipment was faulty, calls made to wrong relatives the list goes on and on
I have never come across such a lack of humanity that made my fathers passing so much more difficult to bear
