"I was in a caring environment"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

Turned up at East Surrey for an Ultra Sound Investigation. From entering the hospital the attitude of the staff as regards a welcoming smile and helping with directions left me with the feeling that I was in a caring environment even before I reached the ward.

Dear Alert Pensioner

It is very good to read that you felt so quickly that you were in a caring environment and that staff were helpful and welcoming.

Over the last couple of years we have done a number of things to make our patients first impressions a good one - from car parking,to the new Main Entrance, to the new reception staff - and it's good to read that this was so evident to you.

Kind regards

Ian
