I think it’s excellent here.

The girls who look after us are very good. They watch you like a hawk if they think there is something wrong. I feel very safe. It’s good attendance you get from them.

I’ve got cancer and I don’t go out very much. I’m the only one left in my family. My GP came out to my house as I had a fall then someone from the day centre came to visit to see if I wanted to start coming. I wasn’t sure at first but I decided to give it a try and I’ve been coming ever since.

I like the company here. Somedays I feel tired but I still like to come.

We’ve been talking about starting sewing and this would be great if we did but it hasn’t started yet. The girls here are always trying to improve.

Thank you very much for the comments you gave about your experience using Ellisland Day Centre. I'm pleased to note you find the staff attentive, and that even on your most tired days, you still like to attend the day centre.

I plan to share your story with the staff who work at the centre and I'm sure they will be delighted to hear how happy you are with the service you receive. I will gently remind them of their promise to start a sewing bee and hopefully you will start sewing soon!
