"I was well treated by all the doctors"

The best thing about my treatment at Barnsley Hospital was that I was well treated by all the doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff on the ward. Not being woken up at 6am could have been better. Also I was given tablets without food which is bad as mine have to be taken with food. I have very bad veins due to 25 years of blood taking. I have found some staff who take blood rude as they seem to think they know best. I am not a nuisance as certain people call me, and as an ex-nurse I would have got the sack if I had been that rude. I have already made a complaint with that department. My previous hospital had no difficulty taking blood from my hand, which they did for 15 years. I think patients who are able should be able to take their own medication and then mark the appropriate forms. I think this would save nurses valuable time.
