"Poor Catering For Patients"

Poor catering service at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle

As a recent patient at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle I found the quality of the food dreadful.

My post operative 'snack' was a stale and unappetising sandwich and a bowl of very salty soup.

I also had to wait for 40minutes for a cup of coffee.

I was informed by the catering staff that I was not entitled to a full meal, as I was only a day case patient, despite not leaving the hospital until 1900hrs!!!

My advise to other patients is to make your own arrangements for meals if you are wanting good quality food!
