"Oncology Angels"

About: Furness General Hospital

Tomorrow is Fri 20th Nov, I have my last chemo session tomorrow after being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in July 2015. It has been a very emotional, physically and mentally roller coaster of a ride. None of course would be possible without the help of of all the nurses on Oncology ( your all great), the doctor and my surgeon who I have every faith in. To all other departments Breast Screening, X Ray, Heart Scan, MRI in Lamcaster, ward 9 for looking after me when I was admitted. You all do a brilliant job and are not recognized and appreciated enough for it, but from the bottom of mine and my partners hearts we would like to say, "Thank you sincerely so much" xxxxxxxx

Thank you Trish for writing a comment on your experience of care at Furness General Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary. We have passed on your kind words to the staff involved in your care. Many thanks again for taking the time and trouble to share your experience and best wishes!
