I attended the walk-in centre today at 1015 with my wife who had been unable to get a doctor's appointment with our own GP until Friday.
The reception/triage staff were very helpful and polite.
My wife who, since the previous Saturday had been suffering from a possible inner ear infection was seen within the hour by the Nurse Practitioner who conducted an initial but thorough examination and recommended a proper full diagnosis by a GP.
Following a brief phone call with our own GP practice, the Nurse Practitioner made an appointment for 10:40 AM tomorrow.
I cannot commend the Nurse Practitioner highly enough. The Nurse Practitioner was courteous, professional and compassionate and provided first-class service recommending non-prescription drugs to alleviate the dizziness.
The Nurse Practitioner also provided a letter for our GP to take to the appointment.
Thank you so much.
You are an asset to the NHS and to the Barking Walk-in Centre in particular
