"Endoscopy."

About: Torbay Hospital

Referred by GP for investigation after COBH.

Attended colorectal clinic followed by colonoscopy in endoscopy unit.

At all times I was treated with the utmost respect by all staff.

I entered the endoscopy unit with a certain amount of trepidation but my fears were soon dispelled.

The procedure was explained in detail and I was given the opportunity to ask questions.

The procedure went very well, no apparent problem was found and, after a cup of tea in the discharge lounge I left the unit feeling very well and contented.

All in all, a rather fascinating experience as I was able to watch the whole procedure on the tv screen.
