My daughter was taken to Tameside general after giving birth at home. She had all her ante natal care under her gps surgery and St Marys hospital but when she had the baby at home the ambulance took her to the nearest hospital which was Tameside. Baby was only 3lb 14oz at 37+4 weeks and needed to go into special care.
The care and attention both my daughter and granddaughter received was way above what we expected. I have seen some bad reports on this hospital but in my opinion they were the best. Nothing was ever too much for the staff in special care unit.
I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff without you I daren't think what could have happened. My grand daughter is now a massive 9lb 8oz.
Once again thank you for my special little princess.
"Cant thank them enough for the care of my granddaughter"
