"Thanks for saving my son's life"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

Six months ago my little boy kieran was rushed to John Radcliffe with suspected menenigitas. He was over temperature and unconscious. He was admitted to the intensive care unit where the staff struggled to control his temperature and diagnose the condition. It took them three days and they worked tirelessly round the clock using every inch of their knowledge to control it . I was totally in awe of the different approaches they came up with but slowly they bought his temperature down. After 5 days they bought him out of his comer and he slowly opened his eyes. After three weeks he came home and now is doing fantastic. I can never thank all the clever devoted staff for saving my son's life. Thank you all . You changed my life forever. Mark. Kierans daddy. X

Firstly, we're so glad to hear that your son was able to return home and has recovered well. Secondly, thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback; we will certainly pass on your comments to staff concerned. As a Trust, we aim to provide consistently excellent care, with compassion, so it is great to hear that in your case, and in the case of your son, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was done to make him better.
