Went to RVI A&E with suspected early miscarriage. From reception I was directed straight to a ward, assessed by a nurse and given a scan appointment the next day. I realise I may have been fairly lucky in getting seen quickly but I am so grateful that my miscarriage was confirmed quickly and I received the advice I needed. Previous experiences with maternity have also always been very good.

The experience of miscarriage or suspected miscarriage is a very difficult time for everyone and we aim to support women through this painful experience. Although we are very sorry to hear of your loss, it is very good to know we were able to care for you and give appropriate advice at this unfortunate time.
