Sent by my doctor for x ray today.comfortable waiting area.warm tv on . magazines available . short waiting time . reception staff friendly and efficient.x ray staff very kind and assisted me with dressing problem.info given in clear and . precise manner.sorry to find cash machine not in main area of hospital. Suprised ordinary prescriptions not dispensed in on site chemist shop.

I am pleased that your visit to our Imaging department went smoothly and I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the head of that service. Our main reception has seen a change recently, with the opening of Marks &Spencer's Simply Food outlet, and unfortunately this has meant that the cash machines provided by the previous shop were removed. There is a cash machine located within a few yards of the main entrance facing London Road and I will ask our Estates department to consider whether we can put up signs making this clear. Regarding the pharmacy arrangements, I understand that the LloydsPharmacy outlet was introduced to improve the dispensing of medication prescribed within the hospital, which tends to be for drugs which are not available at normal community pharmacies.
