About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

my support group knows more about thyroid health and dysfunction than the doctor i saw. Tests done after i had taken my medication not before!! Dr unable to interpret results with that in mind, protocol not followed in SST , i have waited 6 years to get an thyroid specialist appointment, what a waste of time and energy, i have very little of both being severely hypo!

I have lodged formal complaint and the doctors response to that was to stop my medication, no weaning off stopped dead! because they made a mistake on blood tests, also ignored previous test 3 weeks earlier and test 3 weeks after.

This doctor was rude dismissive and uninformed. Most of my thyroid was removed 2009 and they think it still works perfectly well, in fact so well my meds have been stopped, I wouldnt trust this doctor.

I had to get my husband to chase every day for 3 weeks to get copies of my test results, which are mine by law (data protection act) utter disgrace.

The blood draw nurse was brilliant shame dr not as good.
