I recently gave birth to our first baby at Salisbury. My labour was not the easiest but I was continuously supported by the midwives right from the moment we walked through the door, to the minute we left 48hrs later.
Each member of the team were calm, reassuring and helpful.
After some time, my baby's heart rate dropped suddenly and a decision was made to get me to theatre quickly, so my baby could be born safely. This all happened very fast but I was reassured and did not feel concerned at all. The Dr and anaesthetist delivered our baby and the theatre team were absolutely amazing! We cannot thank the team enough for making our experience a better one. They really are fantastic and such overly people that genuinely care! I would be happy to go through it all again as they were brilliant! The NHS is something we do not take for granted in our family. These people are a credit to not only the hospital but to the NHS. Real hero's!
"Midwives and theatre staff, simply the best!!"
