Attended on 28 October 15 for assessment and 29 October 15 for tooth extraction under general anaesthetic for my almost 2 year old son who broke a tooth when he fell on our drive. All the staff were pleasant, treated us with respect and I found them compassionate as well. They were patient with my little boy who wasn't terribly keen to open his mouth, explained thoroughly our options, the risks and how the procedure would take place. On the day of the operation, we were greeted by the dentist who was to perform the extraction, on time. My little boy got to handle the mask that would go on his face, and was given lots of stickers. I felt like we were treated as individuals. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions as well.
The building is very tired, but I understand a well deserved move is on the cards.
Such a shame that we had to wait a month since the referral from our local dentist but I appreciate this has little to do with the dental hospital itself. Probably more than there is lots of demand and not enough staff/funding.
"Really pleased with the service received"
