Just wanted to say thanks to all the staff from the Endoscopy unit who treated me in a caring and professional manner today. The reception staff were great and was able to get me in for my procedure even though I had messed up my dates. I collapsed whilst having the cannula inserted, However the way in which the nurses in preparation/recovery area responded was so efficient I can't thank them enough. The team carrying out my Colonoscopy were friendly, professional and made an awkward procedure run smoothly and with little discomfort. Thanks again to all the Endoscopy unit, you are an asset to Basildon Hospital and should be proud of the job you are doing.
