"dont have your baby here"

About: New Cross Hospital

the anti natal care was very good.

The rest is disgraceful.

If you are in labour after 9pm you have to be on your own.

There is no duty of care to anyone.

You are left on your own.

The midwife during the delivery was lovely.

They do not offer any pain relief apart from gas and air.

The staff are generally abrupt and rude.

They could not give a rubella injection which was supposed to be given after the birth.

Didn't have any apparently.

It was arranged by delivery midwife to be transferred to a room where the family could stay together.

This involved another argument with a rude member of staff when taking us to the room because they said they don't do such things.

When we eventually got to the room they forgot we was there.

Due to risk of blood clots was told would have to inject for a week but they didn't have the injections.

They didn't have any red books for baby discharge..

A formal complaint is being logged.

Do not go to this maternity unit.

It needs to be completely re staffed.

What should be a wonderful experience is turned into a nightmare by the staff.

I don't think you will publish this though !!!!!!
