"horrified, shocked and appaled!"

I attended an appointment with the consultant (reffered by my gp to ent) i had a very awful experience with them. The consultant was arrogant, rude, ill mannered and very intimidating. the consultant was taking out their frustration of the wrong diagnosis by my doctor out on me and branded my doctor as stupid. There was no care and respect in the way they carried out the examination.(thrusting a camera up my nose! Causing me pain) Initially the consultant made me feel like i shouldnt be there and that it was a incorrect referral and after the examination they told me in a uncaring tone that i had a uncurable condition for which i would have to take medication for life. My mum who attended with me was also shocked and she had to tell the consultant that no patient deserves to be treated in this manner. the consultant showed no interest on my thoughts or opinions. Throughout the second half of the appointment they completely ignored me and spoke to my mum as though she was the patient. We are both horrified and traumatised at what happened. And to rub salt into the wound the consultant said do not come to me again. I would never wish for anybody to experience this. I will be taking this further as this is totally unacceptable behaviour from a professional. I have never left a negative review about anyone but i felt compelled to take action.
