"District nurse has failed to visit"

About: Kingston PCT / District nursing

(as the patient),

I'm disabled and was during early summer using an electric scooter to go to the nearest commercial street.

After having a bad pneumonia in early September I am not able to go outside and stay like a vegetable in the bed.

Some 5 weeks ago my GP advised me to have a blood test to check my prostate and a pneumonia jab at the same time as the seasonal flu jab.

He then referred me to the district nurse.

I have had no news from the lady, I asked my spouse to ask the NHS if the waiting list applied to the district nurses, and they told her no.

She went to the GP surgery to learn the district nurse was not happy because she saw me in the streets on my scooter when I should have been in bed, but this makes me think she must have seen me in August.

Is that a sufficient reason to not come visit? I wish to complain if this is why she didn’t come to visit as I believe it’s not very professional

It's very difficult when you are disabled and under pressure for me to hear such things from the GP surgery and not get angry.
