"breast cancer"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

I had a very scary diagnosis as a young mum and as a nurse I knew too much of all aspects of my care and disease and I was terrified.

The staff at MDGH helped me at every stage of this difficult journey to move forward, with all aspects of my physical and emotional recovery. It's is not so much that every aspect was seamless or that everything went 100% according to plan , because it didn't.

However I found nearly every individual to be exceedingly caring and in an absolutely honest way, they were trying to give me the best possible care. When things were not 100 % straight forward, there was an accommodating response, by a compassionate person.

So to the doctors and all those lovely nurses you are worth your weight in gold my dears.... and are guardian angels to each of us as patients many thanks x
