(as the patient),

Ok A Story Cut short, I was admitted to hospital coz I took an overdose and became unwell I was seen by the mental health team who sectioned me under the mental health act. I was then admitted to the harbour a Psychiatric hospital in blackpool. the staff and the nurses was really nice but when I wanted to talk to a member of staff they just kept saying I will come to you in a minute or when I go to get my meds my named nurse says I'll come and find you later for a chat but they never do, this happened through my 5 week stay I was never checked on through the night coz I don't sleep I just lay in bed with the covers over my head so there think I'm asleep.

I was never involved in my care plan I was never told when I had any meetings or cpa meetings untill 5 minutes before my meeting then a week before I was discharged staff became funny with me, and ignoring me...then day before I was discharged the staff was so horrible to me. when you are unwell in hospital for mental health you should not have to be treated like a piece of rubbish I have already put in a complaint because I was not happy at all about the way I was treated near my discharge.
