I started coming to the day centre one day each week and then two. At this time I was going to respite but I didn’t like it so East Ayrshire council agreed I could come 3 days each week to the centre instead. This suits me much better.
I didn’t like the centre the first day as it was somewhere new and I didn’t know anyone. However, after a couple of weeks I felt I was at home with my pals. I enjoy the quizzes, my brain still works fine! I have a bit of a reputation with trivial pursuit.
