Appointments system is chaotic.

I was due a cystoscopy in October 2015 but heard nothing.

Phoned for a date and was told that I wouldn't get one until January 2016 at the earliest.

This is a major concern as I had a cancer re-occurrence needing mitomycin.

Was told that "there are too many patients"!

The appointments system is paper driven for all departments and there is no email or modern booking system.

Suspect that they don't have enough urologists as you cannot have "too many patients!"

Complaining gets you nowhere.

Have contacted PALS without any response.

Also waiting eight months for a neurology appointment so please avoid being ill.

The cutbacks seem to be working, but the least the management could do is be aware of their chaotic booking system and be better organised.
