"My experience at the hospital was exellent"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I arrived at Tameside general hospital accident and emergency department with a dog bite to the leg, I was booked in by the reception and told to sit and wait to see a doctor.

The department was very quiet and I was seen promptly by the triage nurse she assessed my wound and then I was seen by a doctor and a nurse who cleaned my wound and then dressed my wound and gave me a tetanus injection and some pennecillin tabletsto take. Overall, my experience at the hospital was exellent thanks go to all the staff who dealt with me.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. It is always good to hear when patients have had a positive experience in the department. I will ensure your comments are passed onto the team. Once again thank you for your kind words.
