"Radiology Dept."

About: West Suffolk Hospital

I took my 6 year old for an ultra sound scan this week. She was understandably apprehensive about what would happen and I reassured her as best I could. I was suprised that the doctor did not introduce themselves nor did they introduce the other 2 people who were in the room with us. I asked their name and then I explained to my daughter who the doctor was and what would happen. The doctor then proceeded with the scan. I just feel that it is a matter of courtesy to introduce yourself and also explain who the other people that are in the room and what they are doing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review Pipster and bringing this matter to our attention.

Staff introducing themselves to all their patients is really important to us and we have a 'Hello My Name Is' initiative to remind staff of how vital this is.

We have passed your review onto the manager of the Radiology department.
