Had some drooping in left side of face and after seeing advertisment about stroke I went to the A&E to be checked out.
The main reception area was busy but I was seen quickly by a number of staff to ensure it was not a stroke.
It turned out to be the onset of Bell's Palsy.
I was very happy with the fast and professional attitude of all staff in both diagnosis and helping me to keep calm whilst so much was going on around me.
I know some of them had put in very long hours already and it was getting near to their end of shift but they showed great care.
Thank you all.
If there was one thing lacking it was a few days later when I visited my own GP to get some more medication.
The doctor showed me the note sent from the hospital and it did not say much about the treatment and medication required.
Good job I took the medications with me and was able to explain with my wife's help what had been told to me.
Thankfully I am not suffering dementia or it could have led to problems.
"Visit to A&E last Saturday."
