"Heartlands Hospital"

About: Heartlands Hospital

i was an emergency admission on monday 19th October with obstructive jaundice , abdominal pain and having lost 2 stone in weight within a month. The care and attention i received from the very first point of contact was simply outstanding.I was initially admitted to ward 22 and transferred to ward 2 on wednesday 21st October. The day and night staff on both wards were superb.Yes there were times when they were busy with other patients but not once was I forgotten or overlooked. The doctors kept me informed of my treatment at all times and each day i was happy that progress was being made.I had a procedure to remove a stone from my bile duct on the friday and was discharged feeing a lot healthier on the saturday morning.Fantastic service.Thankyou.

Dear Ian Richards

Thank you very much for your lovely comments about your patient experience recently at Heartlands Hospital.

It is lovely to read that despite being busy, you felt well cared for by nursing staff and not once forgotten or overlooked.

I will ensure that your comments are forwarded to Julia Jackson, Matron for Ward 22, and to Beverley Baker, Matron for Ward 2 who will be delighted to share your comments with all of their teams.

Once again, it is most appreciated that you have taken the time to provide your feedback, it is extremely important to us.

Kind regards

Marie Helebert
